Cross on the Hill

I know of a place where we can go,
Away from prying eyes
Where worries are a rumour
And troubles pass you by.
Just follow me and see.

Tired of living in fear
Want to hold you near
And I'm not sure at all
If we'll stand or fall
There's no need to talk
Just follow me and walk
To the cross on the hill

Are you tired of your old life?
You don't have to live this way.
What happened to the old ideas
Of living for today?

Let's burn the paper mountain
And cut all ties in two.
There's nothing here to keep us,
But what we should and shouldn't do.

Tired of living in fear
Want to hold you near
And I'm not sure at all
If we'll stand or fall
There's no need to talk
Just follow me and walk
To the cross on the hill

Dreams of memories
Are what we leave behind.
Where will the next day take us?
Where will the river wind?

Tired of living in fear
Want to hold you near
And I'm not sure at all
If we'll stand or fall
There's no need to talk
Just follow me and walk
To the cross on the hill

I know of a place where we can go,
Away from prying eyes
Where worries are a rumour
And troubles pass you by.
Just follow me and see.
